I am Bob Shand, now living at Gartocharn near Loch Lomond in Scotland with my wife Jean and 3 girls Katy, Alison & Laura.I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1957.I started compiling this family tree in the 1980s and now have about 1800 connected entries, going back to the early 17th Century. Most of these originate in North East Scotland.The family surnames include my own family: SHAND & FINDLATER (New Leeds and Aberdeen); GRASSIE (Aberdeen); BAIN (Fraserburgh and Aberdeen); DUNCAN (Banchory Devenick). I have also included the family of my wife Jean: HECTOR (Aberdeen); GRAY and MALCOLM (Fraserburgh) and CRANSTON (Peebles / Midlothian).
