Notes for J
OHN SHANNON:
I believe John to be the son of Alexander Shannon ,b.4 apr 1769 and Elizabeth "Betsy" Wallace,b. c 1772.John was born in Kentucky where Alexander's son John was born.John married in Preble Co.,Ohio which is just across the state line from Rush Co.,Indiana where Alexander moved to from Kentucky.Although this has never been proved I'll keep the relationship in my genealogy for a reference for when proof is found.
