The first mention of a John Johnson in the Society of Friends meeting records for the Virginia Monthly Meetings is from the Henrico Monthly Meeting on 1719, 4mo, 6da. On 1720/21, 1mo, 1da, John Johnson is mentioned as a member of the meeting at White Oak Swamp, Henrico county, Virginia. On 1721/22, 1mo, 1da, he, along with a Benjamin Johnson, "contributed 20 shillings each toward the building a MM house near White Oak Swamp." On 1721/22, 11mo, 6da, "John & Benjamin & their wives appointed to serve on a committee."2
