My family roots come from Pennsylvania in the counties of Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Clearfield, Huntingdon, and Westmoreland. My primary focus is with the KELLY family. My KELLY ancestors immigrated about 1850 from Ireland and settled in Bolivar, Westmoreland County. I am also one of the tens or hundreds of thousands of decendants of George Michael Weisel and Susanna Kiefer who immigrated from Germany with their children aboard the John and William in the early 1700's and settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In addition to Ireland and Germany, other ancestors of mine came from England, Wales, and Sweden. |
