He married (1) Cynthia Coward 31 October 1837 in Rutherford, NC, daughter of Benjamen Coward and Elizabeth Laughter. She was born Abt. 1812 in Rutherford, NC, and died 16 May 1884 in Polk County, NC. He married (2) Mary Elizabeth Masters 1858 in Georgia, daughter of Zachariah Masters and Nancy Franks. She was born 16 December 1840 in South Carolina, and died 18 January 1907 in Rockmart, Polk, GA.

This indenture made this 29th day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-Four. Between the heirs-at-law of Cinthia Wilson and B.T. Wilson. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars in hand paid by the said B.T. Wilson. This paid heirs at-law of Cintha Wilson, deceased viz. E.W. Wilson, Alvin Wilson, Columbus Wilson, Urcilla Wilson, Emily Wilson, Hooker Wilson, and Henry Wilson deceased heirs hath bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto the said B.T. Wilson a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Polk and State of North Carolina and bounded as follows. Begining at a rock below the grove(?) ford on Green River north side the north to the Betty Cockerham line then west to a banch then nearly north to a maple then west to the outside line of the 70 acre tract, the south 8 East to a pine then then west 60 poles to a stake in Cowarts line the South 3 poles to a stake then East 30 to Red oak and pointers(?) the South 60 poles to a stake in______line East to a branch to the river then down the river to the begining containing forty acres more or less which said piece or parcel or tract with all its woods waters ways minerals________ & or in anyway belonging or apertaining to the said land to have and to hold unto the said B.T. Wilson his heirs an assigns and the said E.W. Wilson, Alvin Wilson, Columbus Wilson, Hooker Wilson, Emily Wilson, and Urcilla Wilson, and Henry Wilson, deceased heirs, do find ourselves our heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend unto the said B.T. Wilson his heirs and assigns free from all and any claims whatsoever in witness whereof we do hereunto set our hand and seals. To the best of my research the records indicate that the parents of Delpha
Weaver are Jesse and Nancy Weaver. The 1850 Polk District censtus show
Jesse Weaver and family. Delpha is the 6th child of this family. In 1850 she
was 6 years old. In the 1860 census she was married to Henry and her age
is 16.
