The possibility exists (unverified), that Conrad Roth was the brother of Margaretha Roth who married Christian Billheimer about 1774.

Evidence points to the fact that Conrad's father was Jacob Roth who died in 1757 in Hamilton Twp., Monroe County, PA. This Jacob Roth married Anna Elizabeth?, and was killed in an Indian attack in Hamilton Twp. Conrad was 5 years old at the time, and his mother returned to Moore Twp. and remarried. This is substantiated by an entry in Pennsylvania Vital Records, Vol. 1, Records of St. Paul's Evangelical Congregation, Lehigh County, PA that lists her remarriage to George Stolze, Sept. 8, 1758.

Conrad was a Revolutionary War veteran, serving in the Pennsylvania Militia under Capt. Jacob Heller

in the 2nd Battalion, of 3rd Company in 1781and 1782. This is from Pennsylvania Archives Vol. VIII, 5th series.
