4. JOHN³ ROSBRUGH (JOHN² ROSBROUGH, THOMAS¹) was born 1721, and died January 02, 1777 in Second Battle of Trenton, during the Revolutionary War. He married (1) UNKNOWN. He married (2) JANE RALSTON Abt. 1766, daughter of JAMES RALSTON.

Birth date believed to be between 1714 and 1721, but at time of his death Jan 2, 1777, his wife gave his age as 55, which would make his birth date as 1721.

First married as a young man, but his first wife died in childbirth and the child no more than a year later.

Her tombstone gives Jane (Ralston) Rosbrugh as 70 years old at her death, this would make her birth date 1739.
