ILLIAM SHEPPARD:
William Sheppard came to DeKalb Co. in 1848, according to the Historical Society there.

His will, made December 10, 1890, and recorded June 20, 1892 bequeathed to son, John T. (Lot no. 39 in 18th district of DeKalb Co., 202 1/2 acres) except one square acre known as the family grave yard, lot of my first wife's grave to be center of said reserve. Children and grandchildren: Nancy Prichett, William M. Sheppard, Elizabeth Hadden's children now living and John T. Sheppard. Daughters: Telitha Lock, Nancy Prichett, and Elizabeth Hadden.

Probate of will recorded in Minutes of Court of Ordinary. Book G, page 142-144.

Tombstone inscription: He was beloved by God and man.
