Born in Creedmore, Texas, to Jesse Sheppard and Caroline Matilda Rowe. Died March 3, 1987 in Austin, Texas. He was a well known and highly respected developer and home builder. He was a charter member of the Austin Association of Home Builders, and that orginization's third President. He was the organizer and President of the Company that developed Barton Hills in South Austin, and Beverly Hills in North Austin.
