Richard Booth (son of Richard Booth and Elizabeth Massey) was born 05 Mar 1607 in Great Budnarth, England, and died 1687 in Stratford, CT. He married Elizabeth Hawley on 1640, daughter of Unknown Hawley.

Richard was selectman 1669, and on freeman's list the same year and after 1673, probably lived many years. He testified he was 80 years old in 1687.

Richard Booth was born in 1607 in England and married Elizabeth Hawley in Stratford, Connecticut around 1640. They were one of the founding families of Stratford. Six of their eight children reached maturity and raised large families of their own. The Booth family members were influential citizens throughout Connecticut. Their monuments in the Stratford Congregational Church Burying Ground are among the largest.
