They started in Europe, and migrated to "The Melting Pot" America. The names of my great grandparents are as follows: Grover Franklin Shinkle 1888 (Schenkel, Shankle, Shenkle, Schenckel)who married Dellie Reynolds 1887, Vernon Uris Newman who married Alma Kathryn Burrell (she remarried William Mackey), William Edward Peace 1897-1964 who married Thelma Irene Winchester 1899-1976, and my grandfather Walter Gustav Dittrich 1916-1967 (Dietrich).
