Researching and seeking information and/or documentation on the following lines: Virginia: GOODWIN, DOSWELL, DRUMMOND, CRENSHAW, WADDY, CHISMAN, READE, MARTIAN, HOWARD, BEALE, TIPLADY, NUTTING & BOOTH. Tennessee: JONES & GOODWIN Arkansas: JONES, JOHNSON, MILLS, SCROGGINS & REISINGER South Carolina: CRENSHAW, WINFIELD, SHERARD, BOLER, WALTON, WILEY & DICKEY North Carolina: DRUMMOND, MCDONALD, MCMILLAN, MCNAIR, LITTLE, JOHNSON, JONES, DOUGLAS & HALE Alabama: CRENSHAW, MCMILLAN, & BOLER Mississippi: CRENSHAW, MCMILLAN, MCDONALD, BOLER, MCNAIR, WALTON, CAMBER & WINFIELD. Unknown: CAMBER Iowa: REISINGER Willing to share information on any of the above lines but particularly interested in the following information:(1) Seeking information on the migration of EDMUND CHISMAN GOODWIN & his wife ELIZABETH WADDY from Hanover Co., VA to Haywood Co, TN some time between 1830 & 1840. EDMUND C GOODWIN was born October 30, 1776 to JOHN GOODWIN & ELIZABETH DOSWELL IN Hanover Co., VA. Elizabeth was the daughter of WILLIAM & SARA WADDY of Louisa Co, VA born April 22, 1777 and married April 10, 1810. They died in Haywood Co, TN (Elizabeth 1845 & Edmund after 1840). Need info on their death, burial, reason for migration, wills, documentation showing their children, especially MARY GARLAND GOODWIN, born May 1, 1814 in Hanover Co, VA.(2) Seeking information on the Haywood Co, TN marriage of MARY GARLAND GOODWIN to BENJAMIN FRANKLIN JONES (born in Hertford Co, NC 1817). They migrated to White Co (West Point) AR in 1856 with their daughter SARAH EASON JONES. Need information concerning their death, burial place, etc.(3) Seeking information on WILLIAM JOHNSON (born in Virginia) who married Susan D. HAIL on September 30, 1841 in Marshall Co, MS. Need info on his parents/birthplace/birthdate. (4) Seeking information on the parents of REBECCA DRUMMOND, wife of THOMAS DOSWELL, who was born 1714 and died 1783 in Hanover Co, VA. Rebecca is believed to be either daughter or granddaughter of WILLIAM DRUMMOND, Governor of the Carolina's.(7) Seeking information on the parents and birthplace of JOHN DOSWELL, SR., grandfather of THOMAS DOSWELL. JOHN DOSWELL was married to CATHERINE (need maiden name & information) and was living in Charles Parish, York Co, VA in 1683. He died June 12, 1718 and was the father of JOHN DOSWELL, JR.(8) Seeking information on the parents of THOMAS BEALE, early member of Colonial Council and prominent Virginian who came to America about 1640. Also need any information on the identity and maiden name of his wife ALICE.(9) Seeking information on the parents and birthplace of PLEASANT CRENSHAW, born in South Carolina in 1814 and migrated to Neshoba Co, MS some time prior to 1843. He was married 1st to ELIZABETH ANDERSON whoo was born in Elbert Co, GA. Pleasant's parents were both born in VA (10) Seeking information concerning parents, birthplace, birthdate, etc. of WILLIAM & SARA WADDY, parent of Elizabeth, who lived in Louisa Co, VA in the 1700's.
