CONCERNING THE DEATH OF HER SISTER LYDIA:
I felt worse when we sent her to the asylum than I did when I heard of her death for she has seemed like dead for so long. I'm glad that she went if there was no hope for her recovery for it must be worse than death to be in her state.
CONCERNING THE RELATIONSHIP HER SISTER, NELLIE HAS WITH HER HUSBAND DANA SHULER:
Gee but I wish I had a hubby that loved me as much or half as much (as Dana). He surely cares a lot for Nellie. I am glad that all men and woman are not alike.
CONCERNING THE CARE SHE WAS RECEIVING FROM HER SISTER, NELLIE:
Nellie is surely a worker. She worked and cleaned my house up so much, bakes, washed and so many things that I felt ashamed to have her do it but you know how determined she is when she has her mind set on doing anything.

FROM A LETTER WRITTEN BY BETTE GEORGE (WIFE OF FRANK) TO DAN SHULER (FRANK'S FIRST COUSIN ONCE REMOVED) ON FEBRUARY 4, 1995:
Rocky retired after twenty years in the USMC and USAF, went to work for Sylvania (GTE) and retired again at the age of 57. We had our retirement home (we thought) built in Lake Wildwood and sat back to enjoy life. Unfortunately, shortly after retiring to what Rocky expected to be a life of "golf every day," he developed a problem in his shoulder which shot his game. Being the "jock" that he is, if he can't do something well, he won't do it at all, he went into a depression which lasted five years. Finally, almost in a matter of a day, he came out of it and up until the day we sold our house he was playing golf almost every day. Golf is definitely his thing. Our new home will have a beautiful course and he can't wait to play it. (The main reason for our move is that golf here at Lake Wildwood has become very overcrowded and slow.)

Harold never married. He loved the outdoors and spent a portion of his life working in mines in Utah and California. He committed suicide when he was about 46 years old - very sad.

FROM A LETTER WRITTEN BY BETTE GEORGE (WIFE OF FRANK) TO DAN SHULER (FRANK'S FIRST COUSIN ONCE REMOVED) ON FEBRUARY 4, 1995:
Florence (the baby) was adopted by a very loving couple and should have been happy but she apparently inherited the problem that is quite prevalent in the Chaddock family and has had mental problems all her life. She is currently living in Sacramento.
