I am researching the Shumway family tree.Chandler Shumway was born in Mass.in the early 1900 and had a son named William my father.Also I'm researching Christien Nielson from Denmark.She came over in 1877 When she was 19. She was born on Sept. 24 1858 in Denmark outside of Copenhagen.She had 2 brothers already in the U.S. at that time thier names were Jens W. Nelson in La Port Ind. and C.C. Nelson in Snohomish,Washington.
