*Note: PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE INFORMATION REGARDING GEORGE WASHINGTON HARBAUGH IN THE COOPRIDER BOOK IS INCORRECT! As a result of this, I have seen several home pages mistakenly state that George Washington HARBAUGH died in 1896. This is not true! George and his first wife (Eliza Ellen BURTON 1856-1926) parted company in 1896. He then adopted the name "George C. HARBAUGH." He married Nora F. COLE (1878-1917) in 1898 in Wellington, Missouri and had seven more children in addition to the twelve he'd had with Eliza. George died in 1928 in Nevada, Missouri and is buried there. If you have the erroneous death date in your records, please change it. It has taken my family years to piece this all together, and we'd like to finally get the records straight.
