I am researching the following families.

Sibbett - in Northern Ireland (Portglenone, Co Antrim)
McKee - in Portglenone, Co Antrim
Gamble - in Co Londonderry, Ireland
Gibb - in Co Antrim
Allison - in Co Donegal, Ireland
Ellison - in Co Donegal, Ireland
Malseed - in Co Donegal, Ireland
Moir - from Chobham, Surrey, England
Rapley - from Surrey, England

I am particularly trying to find out about the early life and military career of my grandfather, George Moir who grew up in Chobham, Surrey and then joined the army ending up in the Royal Irish Rifles stationed in Belfast where he met and married Isabella A(E)llison (my grandmother).

I would be glad to hear from anyone with the same interests.
