I am researching my family tree. I'm researching the Surname ( SIKES) I have found a good bit of my family. But still trying to find out who my 4th Great Grandfather's Father is. My Family Came from Wake County North Carolina. My 4th Great GrandFather was (Elison A. Sikes Married Julia Ann Blassingame) If any one has any info on my North Carolina Family please contact me by E-mail. UPDATE: My 4th Great GrandFather did come from NC. WAKE CO so I was told. ELISON A.Sikes was born Dec 9,1821 in NC died July 7,1896 in Philadelphia,MS. Wife was Julia Ann BLASINGAME born in CARROLL CO, GA / OCT 25,1832. died in Leake CO, Mississippi. Elison and Julia were married in CHAMBERS CO,GA January 6,1848. They lived on a farm in Leake CO, Elison also had a brother who also came from NC. His name was Jason Sikes no dates as of now on Jason. Elison also served in the CIVIL WAR. Please come back I UPDATE as I get info. Thank You Jimmy
