    Jan was born in Poland on Feb. 8, 1876 and came to America between 1897-1901. He settled in Peckville, Lackawanna Co, PA. A coal miner who worked so hard he was known as "Iron Man," Jan died Mar. 21, 1950. This picture was taken in 1943, courtesy of Charlotte R. Mitchell.

    Maria Sebastianelli and Giovanni Silvestri married in 1890 in Italy. Was it in this village or in Montebolla where Giovanni was born? No one knows yet.

  • Vietnam casualty James M. Radzelovage (21 KB)
    Adam did this rubbing at the Wall in 2001. Army SP4 Radzelovage died in S. Vietnam just less than a month after his 21st birthday. He died of injuries following a helicopter crash.
