Howard Gordon Taylor (son of Henry C. Taylor and Genevieve Phillips) was born February 25, 1925 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, and died January 1962 in Gaudalajara, Jal., Mexico.
Notes for Howard Gordon Taylor: Howard "Sonny" Taylor died mysteriously in Mexico. He had left Oregon in January to go to Mexico to obtain a divorce. He traveled in a new Thunderbird and reportedly usually carried a considerable amount of money. His mother last heard from him around January 9Th, while he was en route to Mexico.
The next time the family heard of him was when, two men in possession the the Thunderbird and Taylor's identification, were arrested in the United States on charges of post office burglary. Howard's family was told that his body had been found in Guadalajara, Mexico, which is located about 300 air miles northwest of Mexico City.
