This is the Simmons Family from Milltown, Montana. I am a descendant of Reuben Simmons, born 1803 in New York state. He is my fourth great grandfather. He married Susan Kinney. That is about all I know about them. Their firsborn son, Joshua, was born in 1831 in Gloversville, NY. His firstborn son, Clarence married Jemima Hines and homesteaded in Norton Co. Kansas around 1880 the same year their firstborn son, Francis Melvin was born. He was my great grandfather and I knew him. I was born in Norton Co. Kansas and raised in northern Kansas / southern Nebraska.
I am looking for more information about Reuben Simmons. Most of the gaps between him and myself are pretty well filled in. I would like to go back farther than 1803 if possible.
