| Patsy Riley Sims 10838 Hwy.1.N. Harrisburg,Arkansas 72432 5895 | Trying to find decendants of John Riley. Born: about 1884-1887. His parents was James Riley and Martha E.Vincent not sure of the spelling on Martha's last name.My grandfather was John Riley. He will killed in Feb. 1912-1913 I am not sure. My father William Lansden Riley nor his mother Myrtie Spears,Riley,Trent,Clifton would not talk about anything that happened in the hills on Pea Ridge that is located right on the Tenn and Ky line.I have met some distant cousins near Celina,Tenn. They still won't talk about what happened all those years ago. If you have any iformation pertaining to this please feel free to contact me. James and Martha Riley are suppose to be buried in Memphis,Tenn. James,came to NE:Ark with a logging company. To date I have not been able to find out anything more about them except they had a daughter that married a Sisco/Sysco/Cisco in Memphis and I believe that her name was Mary. I found 1 page of a letter dated in 1913 that said. Mama and Papa are doing pretty good and they arrived here today with Johns body. My grandmother was Myrtie Spears daughter of Darrius and Belle Watkins Spears. She had numerous brothers and sisters. I will add these as I find out more about them. There are numerous faimly memebers here in Arkansas. Myrtie, was last married to a Mr.Clifton and they had 4 childern. Jaunita,Dorothy,Josephine and Leon... Her Riley childern was: William Lansden;John Lewis;Printis & Francis Riley . Francis,was married to a Marlin. W.L. Riley had 5 childern. He is the oldest son of Myrtie Spears,Riley,Clifton. I am the youngest daughter of W.L.Riley. I think his people in Tenn referred to him as Lansden. Lets share information. |
