1. Jacob¹ Haines was born Abt. 1750 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, and died 1827. He married Christina Elizabeth Houseman, daughter of John Houseman and Christina. She was born Abt. 1752.

Notes for Jacob Haines:
Jacob Haines was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania about 1750. He settled in Milford township in 1787, and here cleared up two farms, one-half mile west of Rockwood. He married Elizabeth Houseman, and was the father of four children. He died in 1827. His children were: John, Susanna (Tisue), Christiana (Lenhart) and Barbara (Ream).

Children of Jacob Haines and Christina Houseman are:

Susanna² Haines, born 1791; died 1867. She married Sebastian Tissue; born June 04, 1784; died September 29, 1858.
