This family tree includes the main surnames of Cosner, Clink, Hillison, Reinhart, Wedge and Yarger.


This family tree is a collection of infomation gathered over many years of research, however not all information is proven. This has been a labor of many, including my two grandmothers, aunts, father, mother and brother. We hope you find the information useful. I encourage you to contact me to correct mistakes you may find or if you have information that you would like to share.

Information on the James T. Clink family (born 7/23/1788) was due to the generosity of Jan Clink, She also provided information on Stephen Henry Clink's family (Stephen born 8/2/1786), which is contained in a book entitled "Clinks of Trafalgar Road" by the late William Clink. Jan can be contacted at jclink@concentric.net

*** Please note if you are researching the Clink family in particular, the first generation of John Clink (born ca 1755 - 1759) and Phebe Pratt of Connecticut is purely speculation. They have been considered to be the oldest generation of this line so far, however this is not proven. There are also siblings to their son William Clink (born 2/1799) that have been included in this tree, they too are speculation, however the dates for these supposed siblings fit nearly perfectly, as do the birth place for these extra children. Thank you Jan for your input on these siblings, we share a like mind on their origins.

  This article appeared in the Star-Courier Newspaper .(Kewanee, Henry County, Illinois) on April 30, 1975. It features the cabin that Jacob and Sarah (Leonard) Cosner lived in over 100 years before, in 1854. It also served as a stage coach inn operated by Jacob Cosner.
