* Sise Family Home Page*

Updated September 5, 2000

The Sise Family according to existing family tree files was presumed to have had it's origins in St. Ives, County of Cornwall, England. First records of the family appeared on property rolls circa 1520. Our branch of the family developed in Ireland directly across St. George's Channel in Castle Lyons, County of Cork, in Munster, Ireland.
I am searching for any data pertaining to a member of this family Edward Hodgdon Sise married to Pauline Harrington circa 1850 in Philadelphia, PA or their son George Clifford Sise married to Ann Lambert presumbly in the Philadelphia area, both died in the 1890's. Edward Hodgdon is buried in Portsmouth, NH, the original home of his family but we cannot locate any burial records for Pauline, George or Ann.
