I am researching the lineages of Richard Sisson's(1) descendants, and their related families, such as, Lawton, Crandall, Gorton, Ballard, Tefft, Jenks, Gardner, of the 1600's and 1700's in the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York. I have accumulated many records on these families, and would be glad to exchange information. My line is, Richard(1), George(2), Thomas(3), Giles(4), John, Sr.(5), & John, Jr.(6), etc. In the early 1800's John, Jr. left Sisson Hill at Unadilla, Otsego Co., New York, and migrated with other family members to Switzerland Co., Indiana, arriving there in 1818. He spent a very short time in Gallia and Meigs Co., Ohio, on his way to Indiana. I am a member of the NEHGS of Boston, and have located much information on these families through their great lending library.
