| Searching for decendants of Georg Nicolas Zeisloft, christened 26 March 1704 in Bayern,Pfalz, Bad Duerkheim, Germany. Georg, his wife Catharina (Jungen)Zeisloff emigrated to America, Philadelphia, PA, on ship "Harle" 01 September 1736,"Palantines imported". It is thought by family historians that among the ships list were two of his brothers, and poss. two of their children. Georg, Catherina, and 7 of their 9 children were killed during the French and Indian War, Feb./March of 1756 in Schuylkill,PA. One of his surviving sons was named Ahrhardt Siceloff, born 1740 in Pa.,the other was George Jr., there are several documents with name variations including ZEISLOFT, Zeisloff, Zeissloch, Siselove, Sizelove, Siceloff. About 1820 the family remaining in NC settled on the surname Siceloff, my direct ancestor (George Sizelove), born 1770 in Pa., who was one of three sons of Ahrhardt, left NC, moved to Hamilton Co.area of Ohio about 1805, He died about 1846 in Indiana. My goal is to find as many folks,as I am able belonging to this honorable clan. I presently have over 22,000 indiv. connected. Would appreciate any help, and will share my research with anyone who is seriously willing to do likewise. My only request is that any information I share with you should not be sold, but rather shared freely with others who are interested in learning more about this honorable family. Elizabeth Mae Guest,born 07 Jan.1899 possibly born or resided in New Castle,Lawrence Co., Pa., daughter of Benjamin Guest and Anna Sophia Miller,born 05 Jan 1879 in Butler, Pa.,died 03 Apr.1956,in Nevada City, California. She married my grandfather Joseph Mathias Sizelove, September 1914 in Petaluma, California. They had 5 children, my father, Calvin Jack Sizelove being the youngest.
