The Anton Simensen Listad Family Home Page

I am researching my great-grandfather, Simen Pedersen Listad who was born and married to Anne Kristine Olsdatter in Trondheim, Norway. They had five children, the oldest, Anton, born about 1850, was my grandfather. I am also researching my mother's family who were from Germany/Prussia. The town menitioned is Stettin, in Trebenow Previns Pommen. I understand that Stettin was sometimes in Germany and sometimes in Poland. The names I am researching are Koepke, Riemer, and Habeck. My grandmother, Anna Koepke Habeck was supposed to have emigrated to the Taylor County, Wisconsin area in 1883. I have not been able to trace them back to Europe so far.
