My maternal relative's surnames include: Moses RICH (Minnesota, USA), Thomas BLACK (Minnesota/Montana, USA), Kelso HOLDING (Minnesota/Montana, USA), Dr. Charles MERRITT (Elkhart, Indiana, USA), and Edward KAREL (USA).
My paternal relatives immigrated from Lebanon and include the surnames: REASK, RIZAK, RASK (LEBANON, Missouri/Montana, USA), and YOUNIS (LEBANON).

My mother, Betty J. Merritt, remarried my stepfather, Oliver Manville SKARI (North Dakota/Montana, USA). I would also be interested in any information regarding the SKARI family.

These relatives, or their descendants, all ended up in Montana. I know that my great grandmother and grandfather, Alice (Rich) Holding Black and Thomas Black moved to Sweetgrass, Montana in the late 1800's or early 1900's.

My paternal grandmother, Nezeme Reask, immigrated from Lebanon with my grandfather, Joseph John, in the same time period. She had brothers and sisters who lived in St. Louis, MO.
