Hello and welcome to my home page. I am researching Alexander
Skinner,my 4th great-grandfather. He was married to
Catherine C.Scott. He had two son's I know of Samuel Sanford Skinner
and Alexander Newton Skinner. I descend from
Alexander Newton Skinner through three of his son's, Luther, Granville and
Jackson. Alexander Newton Skinner was married
to Phoebe Conrad, she is the daughter of Daniel Conrad and Margaret
Shields. I'm also looking for information on my 4th
greatgrandmother Patience Blake. She was born abt. 1808 and was married
to George Mathews. Patience is the daughter of
Andrew Blake and Margaret Williams. From what I have found most of my
ancestors lived in Lewis or Braxton
Counties,(West) Virginia. Other surnames I'm working on are BLAKE,
CONRAD, DUVALL, HEATER, NEWTON,
POSEY, RIFFLE, SHIELDS, SKINNER,SWINDLE,WALTON,
WYNN and many others. I would be happy to share
