| World Family Tree contributor: #2431, volume 7.I am researching the Sklenar family that came to Nebraska from Bohemia (Czech republic)in 1860's. Joseph and Augustine Sklenar arrived in the USA in 1864 via New York and settled near Tekamah, NE. I am also interested in the Landrum family. Originally from Lendrum of Scotland, first Landrums in America started in Virginia. James Landrum, son of Reuben Landrum, moved to Georgia in the early 1800's. Emigrated to Oklahoma (Indian territory) during the "trail of tears". I am also researching the Peter Olsen and Anna Hansen family. Peter was born in Denmark around 1857 and Anna was born in Denmark around 1860. They married in Burt Co. Nebraska. Peter died in Tekamah, NE around 1929 and Anna died in Tekamah around 1948. |
