Surnames include Skoog, Hastesko, Carroll, Weaver, Dye, Bretz, Baughman, Barlow, Carpenter, Wheeler, Pilcher, Taylor,Levanius, Lindberg, Berry, Vogt, Zumwalt, Henderson, Koberna, Sidlo, Heiberger, and Fairfield.
Locations include: Ireland, Germany, Sweden, England, Va, Ky, Iowa, In, and mostly Illlinois.
Swedish lines go back to 1600-1700's. Mostly 1800 on.
I am searching for the children of John M Carroll b 1845 Ireland and Delia Ryan b.July 10, 1850 in Chicago, m 1874, John died in 1907. He was a dry goods merchant. His son Richard is my grandfather and he died in a train-car accident in 1913. I think the sibling names were: Charles E, John V, Edward J, Thomas F, Gerald, William, Emmet,Mable and Una. All were from Chicago.
Also searching for information on Wesley Pilcher b abt 1800 in Culpeper, Va married Laura Taylor of Virginia. Daughter Jane born Oct 1, 1821 in Culpeper Co, Va. Pilcher Family moved to Ky where Jane married John Bretz in 1841. Then in 1857 Bretz moved to Springfield, Il. John Bretz's biography stated that Laura Taylor was of Mayflower stock and lived in Virginia until her move to Ky.
Any information would be appreciated. I would also be willing to share any information that I have.
