I am researching the Andrew Cowan Family. I have information that he was born on board ship on his way to America in 1755. He and his parents lived in Virginia, and then migrated to Pulaski Co. Kentucky. His son John W. Cowan, and his son James Dysart Cowan are the line of my family. James "Daisy" Cowans sons migrated to Montana in the 1870's. My grandfather, Walter O. Cowan of Wilsall, Montana I have already discovered cousins that I never knew of. One in my own back yard. We lived a few blocks from each other in Kent Wa. for 20 years, just to find that my Grandmmfather and her Grandmother were brother and sister. How fun. Time is short. She has provided me with so much information. The other side of my family is James Helton, also of Pulaski Co. Kentucky. My grandmother was his daughter, Lizzy Ethel Helton. |
