I have for years been interested in family tree stuff... I have to laugh...most all the hits I get are on my x-husbands family name but that's ok... I love to help were I can am very close to the family so I can pass on information. This is a very nice hobby and I probably have three pages of my own with family tree...not sure how that got started but oh well... off we go again! I am looking for information on the following sir names...
The Skrehot family comes from texas....the Banik family from South Dakota.

The Banik name has been found to have information in a book called the Tolstoy Diamond Jubilee Historical Book.

It has been said that my family on both my grandparents sides are related to Mark Twain so if anyone has some genealogy there I would appreciate an e-mail so that I can piece it together...

My great uncle is looking for information on the name of Hammond, his fathers name is Crispen Hammond of Michigan. And great-grandfather's name was Ernest Wesley Hammond b 19 Sept. 1887 Blythe, Huron County, Ontario, Canada. Any help here would be extremely appreciated.

I have absolutely no info on the Mc Macken side...My grand-father's name was Donald Clemens Mc Macken...the Clemens after Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain.
