THE STEWART HISTORY by Donnis Stewart Slay

I am researching Captain John Stewart,he was born October 16, 1734 in Bristol Parish, Prince George Co., VA and died 1784 in Amherst Co., Va. He married Ann Haw about 1755 in Hanover Co., VA.
They had thirteen children:
Mary Stewart, born Abt. 1756; died Jauary 12, 1850, Bond
Co., Ill, buried in the Wisetown Cemetary.
Charles born Abt. 1758, Hanover Co., VA; died August 14, 1836
Bedford Co., VA.
John born Abt. 1760 in Amherst Co., VA; died April 23, 1829; Cherry Hill, Bairdstown, Oglethorpe Co., GA, tombstone marker in the Oak Hill Cemetary.
William born November 8, 1762 , Hanover Co., VA; died June 17, 1848, Macon, Ga, buried Stewart-Ravens Cemetary.
James born Abt. 1764, Hanover Co., VA; died 1807, Athens, GA.
Robert born Abt. 1766; died before 1808; married Sally Miles,
December 5, 1792, Amherst Co., VA.
Thomas born Abt. 1768.
Elizabeth born about 1769.
Ann born July 11, 1773; died November 8, 1826, Morgan Co., GA.
Samuel born Abt. 1775; died Abt. 1854; married Elizabeth Johnson, Oglethorpe Co., GA. David born Abt. 1777, Amherst Co., Va; died 1837, GA.
Sarah born Abt. 1779; died Madison, GA.
Richard born December 1783, Amherst Co., VA; died August 8. 1815
Clark Co., GA
