This is the milk pitcher that belonged to Sarah Elizabeth Arnold Strickland. My mother, Mary Louise Evans Slack told me that she remembers eating at her grandmothers house. They were seated around a large table, Sarah always had this picture full of cold sweet milk in front of her. You would pass your glass or cup to her and she would fill it with milk. Pitcher now belongs to Don Slack. It is over 100 years old.
