John Danial Slack and wife, Livona "Mona" Hill Slack. Livona Hill's grandmother was Sarah Ann Boone Edmisson, granddaughter of Israel Boone. Israel was older brother of Daniel Boone. J.D. and "Mona" are Don's great grandparents.
