| My name is Carolyn (Parsons) Smedley. I am researching the following surnames: Angel, Brummitt (Brumitt), Clark, Dehart, Engle,Eslinger,Francisco, McGoveran, Mincher, Parsons, Smedley, Taylor, and Wear. My main objective is to find the PARSONS lineage from my grandfather and back. His name was JOE LEE PARSONS born between 1866/1871. He died on August 4, 1913 and is buried in Howe, Oklahoma. JOE L. married for the second time to my grandmother, Lue (Lou) Ida DEHART around 1902. They had two children, Mary Cora Parsons and TED OWEN Parsons born February 1907 and died June 6, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The death certificate for JOE L. PARSONS states his parents were born in England. JOE L. was probably born in Missouri around St. Louis. I would appreciate any help anyone might have on this PARSONS.
