Daniel left a wil June 10 1810 in New York City naming his chlldren as
Magdalene, Martha, Mary, Catherine, JuliaAnn, Daniel, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, John H and Harriot . He named his wife Esther as Executor

It may be that Suzanne Balme was his first wife and that the older children belong to them. It may be that he then married Esther and the later children were theirs. There is a big date spread in the children which relates to a probable second wife. There is a marriage in the NY marriages before 1784 for Daniel Tiers and Suzanne Boyd marriage 1764

In the newspaper Columbian for the Counatry 1809-21
Wed, June 13, 1810-Died yesterday Mr Daniel Tiers ages 72 years .Funeral at No 65 Bowery Lane.

According to the calculations he would have been born 6-5-1738, but the French Church Records of Kleinvillers Germany state 6-5-1742. I would believe the church records are correct.
