The Dean Smith Family Home Page

I am researching the Smith family from Wooster Ohio, I presently live in Chesapeake VA. and am having a time trying to find out about some of my ancestors. My mothers maiden name was Ida Viola Lawrence, one of my nieces started a family tree but it has several errors and I would like to verify and add to it if possible
Peter Lorentz immigrated from Germany in 1747 on the ship Two Broths Thomas Arnot was the master and sailed out of Rotterdam.
One son Christen Lorentz moved from Lancaster PA to Wooster Ohio Wayne County, changed his name to Lawerence in 1823.
