Orrin Perry Barnhart (son of Morgan Barnhart and Sally B. Francisco) was born September 13, 1840 in Cooks Falls, NY. He married Mary Ann Cook on March 10, 1866 in Cooks Falls, daughter of Jeptha Cook and Angeline.

Notes for Orrin Perry Barnhart:
He was a Civil War Vet for the North. Had a monthly pension. In battles near
but not at Gettysburg. Had 9 children & always came back to live with Asa. Had
a bachelor brother "Ed" who was Mildreds Great Uncle Ed. Came from Netherlands
Low Dutch & maybe French. Dates of 9/59 or 60 - 2/29 89 shown without explana-
tion.

Barnhart, Orrin - Age, 21 years. Enlisted, October 5, 1861, at Callicoon Depot, to serve 3 years; mustered in as private, Co. L, November 4, 1861; re-enlisted as a veteran, Feruary 20, 1864; mustered out with company, October 17, 1865, at Charleston, S.C.
