Steed, Brighton, Bragg, Bauss, Janecke, Kleinecke, Ficklin

Our Steed's came to the US in about 1866. Righard Brighton Steed and brother William H. Steed, along with William's wife and son are on the 1870 NY Census. On 1880 they are in Hunt Co., TX. Richard Brighton married Phoebe Lucinda Tatum. William H. married Sarah Elizabeth Bessie BEER, she was also from England.
Richard and William had brothers and sisters who stayed in England, there was mention of a sister also coming to the US.
Richard and Phoebe had these children, all born in Hunt Co., TX.;Sarah, Annie, John & Bertha. Phoebe had been married before and had Ettie A. REDMOND. Phoebe and Richard had other children that did not survive child hood.
John Luther Steed b. 1883 married Fannie Euthola Bragg. Fannie was the daughter of George Issac Bragg and Margaret Stevens FICKLIN.
