My great-great grandfather Herbert was a farmer in Thorpe Morieux, at Clay Hall Farm, which had land in both Thorpe and neighbouring Cockfield. The farmhouse was pulled down in the 1960's. Herbert was the second somewhat belated son of David Game and his wife Sarah Horrex, born 15 years after their other two children Alfred John and Sarah Ann. Herbert was married to Rosanna Long, who was (like Herbert) also a descendant of Thomas Crick of Cockfield (I forget the exact relationship, third or fourth cousins I think). My Dad vaguely remembers Herbert as a very old man.
