For three years now, I have been gathering, organizing, and seeking out information on my roots, for to know one's past is to have a better grasp on the present. Up to this point, I have gathered most of my information from my grandparents and my remaining great grandparents. This summer, I obtained the Family Tree Maker program, and by printing an all-in-one family tree and presenting it to my family at a family reunion, I was able to springboard my hobby from just a search through the past to a quest for the future as well.

I'll be updating this periodically as my research carries forward.
