Served under Captain Baldwin in 1777. Enlisted in Wilks County, Ga. and was sent to Stewart Fort in Wilks County. They then marched to St. Augustine and then moved to Clarks Fort in Georgia where he was until his service expired.
He was an early settler in Morgan County, Ga.
