I am researching the following family surnames: Smith, Bannon, Inglesby, McCaffrey, Holmes on Jim's side of the family; and Watters, Martin, Carney, Brown and Neldon on Pat's side of the family. Jim's family came from Ireland to Stratford, Ontario. We have traced the Bannon's to Trim, Trimand, Co. Meath, Ireland. They also lived in Michigan and Pennsylvania.Pat's family lived in Ohio. They are mostly of Irish ancestry. We have come to a dead end at Frank Neldon of Youngstown, Ohio, father of my grandfather, Roscoe. I have found out a lot about Neldon's, since this is an uncommon name, and have started an unrelated family tree in the hopes of someday finding the connection.I have submitted both trees to World Family Tree and to GenServ.
