He lived with parents, Wallace & Charlotte Curtis in Lebanon IN while "Dolla" Gertrude Curtis and children, Earl L., Josephine & Fern lived in Indianapolis and ran a little grocery store. Periodically visiting Thomas in Lebanon. Aunt Jo said "Mama went broke tho, she gave everyone credit, then didn't collect on the bills"
