Benjamin Smith and "Deacon" George Clark of Milford CT

Updated February 3, 2007

I have been playing with this family tree program for quite a few years now. I am lucky to live in Milford Connecticut, the same place many of my ancestors came to in the 1600ís, the location makes some of the research easier. As I work on my tree I realise that you married who was close by, there were no cars, computers, TV or easy tansportation, marriages were confined to close friends and cousins. Just makes the searching easier.
My main search is in the Smith and Clark lines. The starting point for me is Connecticut in the 1600ís both my SMITH and CLARK lines were in Milford at the time. I would be more than willing to share any information re these or any of the information I have on the names below. Most of the information I have is Connecticut based.

These are some of the family names I have been searching:

ANDREW, BALDWIN, BEACH, BEARD, BRADLEY, BRYAN, BUCKINGHAM, CLARK(E), DOWNS, FERGUNSON, FOWLER, GIBBARD, GOLD, HINE, HOOKER, KELLOGG, LOBDELL, MAIN, MALTBY, MARVIN, MILES, NEWTON, PARKINSON, PHIPPEN, PLATT, PLUMB, PURCHASE, SMITH, STONE, SUMMERS, TAPP, TYLEY, WHITING, WOODRUFF
