I am researching the Guckenberger family from Tphofen, Germany.Andrew Guckenberger married Katherine Frohlich sometime during the early 1870's in Germany.They have 9 children that all came seperately to America arriving between 1893 and 1912.All of them came through Ellis Island.
They lived in New York and Northern New Jersey.
I am also researching the Diccianni family from S. Caterina, Italy.Pasquale arrived in New York through Ellis Island in April of 1911.He married Assunta Rosita Giglio in December of 1912.Assunta was an orphan that came to America, we know nothing more about her background.
Any information to help in our research for our roots would be appreciated, I am also willing to share what I have learned.
