3. HANS JACOB² ECKMAN (ULRICH¹) was born 1687 in Runnelshorse, Reformed, Canton of H. Gall, Switzerland, and died July 03, 1752 in Gossenhoppen, Montgomery Co, PA. He married ANNA MARIA UNKNOWN August 08, 1703 in Pfalz, Germany.

Notes for HANS JACOB ECKMAN:
acob Eckman was a descendent of Hans Jacob Eckman. Hans and his wife (also his brother Johannes and two nephews, Hieronimus and Johannes Jr.) arrived in Philadelphia September 18, 1727 on the William and Sarah. He was from Runnelshorse Reformed Canton of H. Gall, Switzerland. His father's name was Ulrich. Hans mar. Anna Maria(?), Aug 8, 1703 in Pfalz Germany. Hans died July 3, 1752 and is buried in old Goshenhopper (Montgomery Co., PA) where he settled after arriving in this country. When he died he left one son Hans Jr. who moved to Creagertown, Frederick Co, MD between 1732 and 1750, Hans Jr. died April 1778 and left eight children. There is a Jacob Eckman Jr. listed as a member of the Evangelical Reformed Church at Frederick, Maryland. This may be the Jacob who mar. Nancy Bagent, or his father.
