George's first marriage was to his cousin Margaret. They had 10
children.His second wife was Widow Copander. Nochildren. George and both
wives are burried in Cem. in Hillsboro, Mississ-ippi. Militia Records in
Miss. State Archives show Geo. Jackson to have been a prosperous land owner
and plan-ter. He owned a cotton gin.
